READY READING Word / Picture Cards are designed to help students practice words from the blending lessons.  They can be used for direct instruction and the cards can be cut apart.  An alternate activity is to cut the page in half, using just the picture part to let the students write the words independently or using just the word part to let the students draw their own pictures.
